I still yet to make another trip to meet Al Habib Ali bin Ja'far Alaiydrus of Batu Pahat. As I lost my way, overcoming great hindrance along the way. Reached there by night time where Habib already sleeping. Or maybe I was not ready to be his guest yet. He lives in an old house at Solok Wan Mo near Batu Pahat town (in the state of Johor, Malaysia). And many Malaysians, Singaporeans and International Ulama visit him regularly as ziyarah, and for tabarruk. Ask around that area and most people will direct you to his humble abode. But please respect the family and not visit at odd hours while habaib are resting like in mid-afternoon and late night. If you are lucky, you are invited to stay overnight.

Al Habib Ali bin Ja'far Alaydrus is a very virtuous man whose prayers never been rejected by Allah S.W.T. He is an old man who spend all his time welcoming his guests, days and nights, in his humble house. But many Great Habaib and famous Ulama in their visits to Kuala Lumpur, always made their time to visit this old man, among others: Al Habib Umar bin Hafidh Hadramaut, Al habib Muhammad bin Alwi Al Maliki Makkah, Al Habib Zein bin Ibrahim bin Smeith Madinah, Al Habib Hasan bin Abdullah As Syathiri Hadramaut, Al Habib Salim bin Abdullah As Syathiri Hadramaut, Al Habib Abdulqadir bin Ahmad Assegaf and many more Great Habaib. This old man’s father was one of the Great and Noble men acknowledged by Allah, Al Habib Ja'far Alaiydrus who was famous almost all over the world as a virtuous man and has been named as one of the connoisseurs in Shiddiqiyyatil Kubra, while his son Alhabib Ali bin Ja'far who seemed not to have anything, very down hearted and always bend his head with politeness towards all his guests, is a man with gentle voice and always full of love.. oh...the light on his face like the dazzling diamond in the middle of the darkness of the night. Indeed a Friend of God is one who is humble and always loves to serve the poor just like the Prophet (s.a.w.)
